Antique Black Columbia Family Mercantile Scale, Kitchen Accent c. Early 1900's
Product Description: This early Columbia Family Scale with original, black enamel paint features a round, open-face surrounding the dial. This functional scale can weigh up to 24 pounds by ounces. Although on the face above 24 ounces the "Columbia" name is faded, it still is a functional and decorative feature as a kitchen, bathroom or general store accent.

Condition: Previously owned – used. Scale works properly. Spotty surface patina, scratches, wear and rubbing. Platform is sturdy, calibration knob functions correctly, although the cover only "sits" over the knob, NOT secured by the missing screw. It does not effect the function of the scale. The "Columbia" name above 24 ounces is faded and nearly gone (as shown). This style scale does not come with a glass front.
