Product Description: Back in the day, many farmers sold their eggs to local stores and neighbors using egg crate carriers similar to this one. Made of wood, this larger carrier once held up to 12 dozen eggs! Inside are the original egg separators of 4 levels of 36 each. It still retains its original hardware, nails, wire bail handle and wooden grip. What makes this one special is the original condition, capacity and natural, warm patina on the exterior surface. A fantastic farmhouse or kitchen accent.
