Product Description:  A mid-19th century Flow Black Transferware Plate in the “Washington Vase” pattern by Podmore, Walker & Co., Staffordshire, England. Measuring This 10 inch decorative plate showcases a black transfer printing of a romantic landscape with exotic foliage and a large classical urn - vase in the forefront with five cartouches, scrolls and floral around the edge. While this decorative plate bears its own character through natural aging with crazing, it captures the artistry and craftsmanship of 19th-century English pottery.

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Good very good condition. No chips or cracks. All-Crazing is present on front and back. Single stilt marks on the front and triangular stilt marks on the back are present from the drying process during the making of the piece. Small glaze pops on bottom right side on border and one on. central scene. A few small light scratches on front.
