Antique Handless Cups & Saucers Set of 3 Whimsical Floral Pearlware England
Description: Whimsical and Folky describes this charming Cup & Saucer Set of Three. Crafted from earthenware, this charming collection showcases 19th-century English pearlware craftsmanship. Each piece is meticulously hand-painted over transfer print with a whimsical floral – botanical motif that reflects the era’s artistic workmanship. Some wear is expected of a set close to 175 years old, although with all considering, its graceful appearance and history will be hard to overlook.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Considered good condition. Crazing and some scratches are present when turned towards light. Nothing that effects art work. Cups: One cup has a 1 ½” area of nicking with an 1/8” chip directly on other side of inner rim. One nick on another cup is present. Saucers: Once saucer has a 1” light rubbing on back edge of rim. Another has a small nick on rim. Common stilt marks on the back and/or front in diamond shape from the making – drying process of pottery.
