Description: Add this 19th century Green Transfer Polychrome Plate by G. Wooliscroft, Hanley, England to your collection. In the elaborate Excelsior pattern, this 12-sided plate measures 9 ¾ inches in diameter with hand-painted polychrome red, blue and a hint of yellow on green transferware pattern. It features a central floral motif accented with additional floral around the edge. On the back, it bears a green English registry stamp with a G. Wooliscroft mark, dating this piece of his work approximately mid-1800s.
