Product Description:  A calming feeling describes this lovely ten piece nautical canister set made in Czecho-Slovakia. Included are five large eight inch canisters; Barley, Coffee, Rice, Sugar and Tea and five small 4 inch spice canisters; Allspice, Cinnamon, Ginger, Pepper and Nutmeg all with a glazed exterior, interior and removable lids. All feature a wonderful blue windmill scene on the sea with a white background.

Markings: 1st mark: Made in Czecho-Slovakia (in red with a hypen, in a double circle or donut mark), 2nd mark:  Sanft China, Made in Czecho Slovakia (in an oval, no hyphen), incised 470 on large canisters.

Origin:  Czecho-Slovakia

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  No cracks.  Large canisters are in good condition with minimal wear under lids and rims.  Although all canisters are clean, the Tea has staining inside on one corner and due to age, yellow discoloration on one exterior side, both may not be removable.  Coffee has a 3/4" chip/slice on back corner (as shown).  White in color therefore not easily noticed.  Small canisters:  1/8" chips underneath lids on Cinnamon, Pepper and Nutmeg.  Chip on edge of ginger jar and corner of Cinnamon. Some wear on base.
