Antique Nippon Chocolate Pot Set with 6 Demitasse Cups and Saucers Gold Floral Swag
Description: An elegant porcelain Chocolate Pot with six Demitasse Cups and Saucers by Nippon from the early part of 1900's. Each piece is hand painted with a raised, gold gilt floral and swag, filled in with a pale yellow tone on a crisp, white background. Marked on the base with the “Hand Painted Nippon” mark in blue with Spoke, Van Patten’s #103.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age an use. Decorative and functional. Spout on chocolate pot is in excellent condition with no nicks or chips. All six saucers are in very good condition. One cup has a 1/8” chip on rim. Another has a nick on top rim. Three cups have fading or gold color wear around top rim, base and in areas of the design. One gold fading on top in one area. Handle on chocolate pot has a ½” gold color wear on handle from normal use.
