Maker Marks or Historical Marks: Teapot: Impressed mark – H & C (near bottom), Impressed Diamond Registry Mark (not fully clear), Sugar Bowl: Extremely faint impressed “H & C” on base. Only visible when turned towards light source.
Condition: Used. Condition commensurate with age and use. Overall good antique condition. Teapot is good with no chips or cracks. Some gold metallic wear, moreso on bottom neck of spout (as shown). Wear and discoloration on the inside edge of lid and black mark on interior base. Small chip and nick to inner lip on sugar bowl where lid rests. Light wear to gold metallic accents. Overall good being over 140 years old.
