Description: Compliment your kitchen with this mid-19th century Handleless Cup & Saucer in the “Roselle” pattern. Crafted in Staffordshire, England, this set features a picturesque central scene of and English cottage near a body of water with mountains in the distance and decorative borders of hanging flower baskets in cartouches. Despite each piece exhibits wear and aging, they both bear an early English Registry Mark dating the registration - 1848.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. All-over crazing is present. Early nick on rim of cup along with wear and rubbing to base. Saucer: On decorative border are white imperfections which appear to be glazed over. On back of saucer are spider cracks near registry mark, although still appears to be strong. Wear and rubbing to base and rim.
