Antique Wedgwood Black Basalt and White Jasperware Lidded Jar Earlier Mark
Product Description: Display this earlier. Black Basalt and White Jasperware Lidded Jar by Wedgwood. With a similar appearance to a biscuit jar, it is believed this piece was possibly once used as a tobacco jar. In slightly bulbous form, it is decorated in white relief with a neo-classical Greek scene depicting sacrificial figures surrounding the jar. The silver-plate bail handle with a simple twist and EPNS, silver-plate lid and collar makes this a lovely collectible. It bears the WEDGWOOD impressed name on the bottom. Add this beautiful, bold and striking neoclassical influence to your home.
