Antique Wooden Slide Top Lid Candle Box, Storage Box, Dark Brown

Product Description:  This dark brown, wooden candle box is a showpiece with original, early stain and patina.  In rectangular form with nailed construction it features a sliding top lid with a round knob attached with one original screw.  This box may have once been used to store candles or other items.

Condition:  Previously owned – used.  Condition is consistent with age and normal use.  Very good condition.  Small shrinkage of lid sides which are normal with these early slide tops.  Lid slides smoothly with no issues whatsoever.  No repairs or repaint.
