Product Description: Pulleys such as this one were often used for lifting heavy objects and a variety of additional uses. They were most commonly seen around barnyards and were used to lift bales of hay up into the lofts of barns. This handsome wood block pulley with a single metal sheaves and a husky cast iron lift hook features wonderful character. With reddish-brown tone, just the right amount of aged patina, and areas of worn and chippy wood makes this rustic accent a wonderful collectible. Can be used as a farmhouse accent on porches, cabin decor, or for a re-purpose project.
