Old Glazed Stoneware Pottery Crock Jar 3 Quart 8 1/4"
Description: Introducing an old 3 Quart Stoneware Jar likely from the 1800s. In a cylindrical form with tapered shoulders, this vessel stands 8 ¼” inches tall with a 6 ¼” width. The exterior surface is glazed with color variations of tan and gray tones. One side it showcases gray with hints of blue and on other side dark and lighter tan tones mixed in. The interior exhibits remnants of a worn interior glaze from years of use. It appears it may have once been a lighter brown color glazing by the inner top portion which still has remnants of some color. The exterior gray and tan tones, splotchy areas with color variations makes this a unique, attractive piece of early pottery. A must-have for any pottery enthusiast who enjoys this appearance.
