Vintage Metalwork Cast Iron Tilting Vanity Mirror Frame No Glass Mirror

Description: A fascinating piece of metalwork that was once a swivel vanity mirror. Featuring ornate Art Nouveau style work with figural bird motifs on two sides and a cherub and floral design on top, this oval mirror stands 18 inches tall mounted on an ornate triangular iron stand with a gold-tone applied finish. Its solid and heavy weight just over 5 pounds. Even though the glass mirror is missing from this stand, the frames artistic merit and decorative richness makes it compelling for a vintage enthusiastic or for those seeking period character for creative repurpose projects.
