Product Description: During the 20th century, embroidered postcards from Spain and Portugal gained popularity as souvenirs of the cultural heritage. Showcasing traditional regional outfits and cultural themes of each region, this collection of six embroidered postcards depicts a variety of printed illustrations on thin cardboard of regional dresses and outfits, then detailed embroidered with a satin stitch technique and most with added embellishments, creating a mix of different textures. All postcards with exception of one is printed with the artist Elsi Gumier or Elsi. A collection both elegant and sophisticated for the postcard enthusiasts, cultural memorabilia collectors and those with an interest in textiles.
