Vintage Hooked Rug Single Flower Leaves Two Distelfink Birds Americana Textile
Description: A charming hooked rug acquired from the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, southeastern region. In rectangular form it showcases a single, orange-rust flower, flourishing stems with buds and deep green leaves with brown veins. Two birds, possibly Distelfink, are perched on stems with a detailed blend of blue, purple and gray on a sand color background with a deep green border. A fun piece with a Folk Art appearance that would display well converted to a wall hanging.
