Vintage Maruhon Ware Glazed Handpainted Double Handle Vase 5 1/4"

Product Description:  Add your favorite short stem flowers to this earlier glazed Maruhon Ware vase. It showcases a double-sided burgundy and dark blue floral, green foliage on a  tan, raised weaved pattern. The orange-brown double handles with matching rope motif around the center adds uniqueness and natural color. 

Circa: Uncertain. Possibly 1920s - 1930s

Markings:  Black stamp on base, Hand Painted Japan with a K. (refer to photograph).

Origin: Japan

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age and normal use. No cracks or chips. Edge of base appears to be a glaze skip or light scrape (as shown). Light wear with roughness on bottom rim of unglazed edge. Crazing is present on exterior and interior.
