Unique Mid Century Octagon Box Purse - Decoupage Mice "Mouse House" w/ Lucite Handle

Product Description:  This whimsical, Mid-century wooden box purse is rather unique.  On the exterior of the octagonal shape features a decoupage of a family of mice titled "Mouse House" on a painted blend of green and brown background with a decoupage art deco interior.  The Lucite, reddish-rust swing arm handle is attached securely to metal loop hooks on the lid.  Also what is unique about this piece is the miniature, imitation key with secures the metal clasp.  This charming purse is not only a unique, fashionable show piece from years gone by, it's also a fun and functional accessory for today.

Not recommended for children.  Small parts (key) which are not intended for children.  Sold as a collectible only.

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Overall good condition, consistent with age.  Small front corner of decoupage paper is detaching (as shown in photo).  The string the imitation key hangs from is not original and does not need to be used.  Currently in place so it is not mis-placed.   A few light scratches on handle and lid.
