Product Description: A stately Antique German Lutheran Hymnbook; Erbauliche Lieder-Sammlung” for use in Pennsylvania congregations and neighboring states, specifically directed towards the Pennsylvania German and Mennonite communities. This collectible leather bound hymnal printed in German in fraktur script, represents early Pennsylvania German religious and cultural history.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is commensurate with age and use. Significant aging including foxing, staining, a few torn pages and wear to paper. One brass clasp is missing. Scratches and wear to leather binding although binding is still intact. Bent bottom right corner. Believed to be missing a pictorial and blank pages in the front.
