Antique White Ironstone Platter Wheat and Clover 16" Tomkinson Bro & Co. England
Description: Display this rather large white ironstone platter with an original aged appearance from the 19th century. In oval form it measures just over 16 inches long with a Wheat & Clover pattern in relief. Although this piece can is no longer intended for food use, its a perfect choice as a kitchen accent or can be used to create a charming center piece with a timeless appearance.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Over 150 years old condition is considered good.. No cracks or repairs. Rim is smooth in very good condition. Only one 1/8" nick in the glaze on rim above bow. Crazing is present on front and back. Aging in the form of discoloration – browning, yellowing and a few glaze pops more so on front of plate. On the back, three sets of diamond shape marks from the making. No longer recommended for food use.
