Condition: Previously owned – used. Condition is consistent with age and normal use. Sampler: Areas of fading and darkening which is common with most 19th century samplers. One ¾”x 1 “hole in center next to “X”. Frame: Rubs to corners. Not certain date when sampler was mounted to frame. Sampler has been acquired in as-is framed condition and has not been removed to inspect edges of original sampler. Paper back has separated from frame in areas.
