Description:  During the Colonial days, American kitchen tools - utensils were often seen hanging above the hearth on a timber or nearby the fire when not in use. This 19th century hand-forged spatula with a key hole shape blade is made from wrought iron with a hook end. Signs of hand-crafted cuts and hammering adds to the beauty of this early piece.

Condition:  Previously owned – used. Condition is consistent with age and use. No breaks or issues other than areas of normal patina and use. Left corner tip of blade is not totally smooth out.(as shown).
