Vintage Wooden Firkin Sewing Storage Bucket
Product Description: This worn, firkin style staved bucket with tapered sides was once used as a sewing container. It features three bands with 3 tapered finger construction and a snug fitting lid. The bentwood, swing arm handle is securely attached by two, mushroom dowel rods. Inside you will find a wooden, corner shelf with three spindles which the previous owner once held two of their early Coat’s O.N.T threaded spools and one pin cushion and a display of Gold Eye needles, all which was acquired with the piece. An earlier, practical collectible with wonderful patina and a primitive used appearance.
