Product Description:  Decorate in style with this original wicker wrapped Demijohn bottle. In the earlier days, bottles similar to this one stored wine, liquor or other liquid, then wrapped in rattan or other material to assist in preventing breakage or spoilage. This rather large 2 gallon Wicker Wrapped Demijohn in a tall, cylinder form stands 18 inches tall with a 7 ¾” wide body. The original bottle in an aqua green color, is wicker wrapped in a rattan material with a single wrapped handle. A fantastic demijohn with beautiful dark aged patina that will make a statement piece in your home.

Condition:  Previously owned – used.  Condition is consistent with age and use. Rattan is surprisingly in good condition. Appears to be a crack in the exposed lip of bottle. Still appears to be a very strong. Dark aged patina.
