Product Description: Before this invention of indoor plumbing, wash pitchers and basins were commonly seen in the bedrooms during the Victoria era for evening washing. The interior and exterior of this wash-up bowl or basin is decorated with a classic blue floral pattern on a creamy white background. Once considered a necessity piece for common every day use is now stylish decorative pottery used as centerpiece bowls, converting them into chic bathroom sink bowls, potpourri bowls with candles and so much more.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Blue decoration in good condition. No cracks - holds water. Due to age and use, spotty discoloration on side of round footed base (towards back-side) and what appears to be discolored glaze pops on inner body, area of a raised clay particle on exterior, ¼ deep glaze scratch in bottom base and two 1/4"chips on underneath rim of footed base (one is more of a scrape). Still sits firmly.
