Description: Decorate your home with this old-school 1 Quart Stoneware Preserve Jar. Once used as a utilitarian crockery to store or preserve food or liquid, now serves as unique, decorative element in your home. With an earthy-tone, metal bail handle and a black wooden grip, it’s a smaller size standing slightly over 5 inches tall and 4 ¾ inches wide at the base. The sunken lid rests on the inner lip with a fingertip, circular handle. Display a small flower arrangement, small kitchen utensils or simply as it is for that rustic charm.

Condition: Used. Wear is consistent with age & use. Considered good, free of cracks. Metal bail handle with patina moves freely. Some nicks and pitting on body. Minor staining on interior (as shown). LID: Nicks, rubbing and imperfections on top and underside. Due to the way these antique crockery jars were crafted for preserving food, most lids with the button knobs are difficult to pick up and remove from jar. Please “proceed with care” as we cannot offer a refund if lid becomes damage. Normal wear and imperfections from the making of the pottery. No longer recommended for food use.
