Antique Victorian Green Velvet Photo Album w/ Drawer, Stand & Cabinet Cards - Late 1800s
Product Description: This is not your typical photo album. From the late 1800's - early 1900's, this elegant velvet photo album sits gracefully on the original stand, featuring a matching pull-out drawer and a patinated, brass-tone clasp that works like a charm! Displayed in the center if the cover is a decorative, fan mirror highlighted by pretty, brass, floral embellishments in the top two corners of the cover. It folds out forward and is completely full with a combination of 64 Cabinet Cards and 12 Cart-de-Visite, mostly portraits of children, men and women. A cabinet card of the Liberty Bell and a one of Prince Henry & Princess Irene Prussia are just a few you will find in this exquisite collectible. Each page is made of cardboard covered with brown-swirl paper with cutouts outlined with thin, gold trim. It is marked on the inside cover with two patent dates; November 26, 1895 and November 10, 1896. A lovely Victorian bedroom accent or gift, in a condition which is hard to find.
