Vapo Cresolene Miniature Medical Vaporizer Oil Lamp Device - Late 1800's
Product Description: During the Victorian Era this medical device was used to breath in the Vapo-Cresoline liquid for a various of breathing problems. Kerosene or Petroleum Oil was added to the lamp to provide a small source to heat the tin dish on top. This dish held the Cresolene which then created a vapor in the room. This collectible features an ornate, gold-tone plated, metal stand that holds the clear glass oil lamp with a milky glass chimney. The original wick is still intact. The tin tray which sits on top of the stand that holds the Vapo liquid is missing. A fantastic early medical device collectible.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Missing tin dish which sits on top which holds the Vapo liquid. Inside of glass lamp has minor discoloration at base.
