Antique Victorian Red Velvet Photo Album With Photo Cards
Product Description: This stunning Victorian photo album is covered in luscious red velvet. Displayed diagonally across the front is a striking tin-type sash with two embossed floral and one owl and moon motif. Inside are 36 thick window pages with 23 holding photographs and cards, 12 empty spaces and 3 loose photographs. One is by Newman Photographic Art Studio, A. Warshaw Brooklyn, N.Y. and third has a signature on front; W. Wolfgang and writing on back. On the exterior back are four pointed metal feet which assist in protecting the velvet cover. The end of the metal clasp which clips and secures to the opposite end is missing. An impressive keepsake album from the late 1800's which provides a glance at the past while adding a splash of color to any home decor.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Overall good. End of clasp is missing. Corners of the album have wear and have small tears (as shown). Most of the black paper in empty photo windows are either torn or missing. Light tears on a few of empty photo slot insert areas. Light writing of a number on inside cover. Balance of pages are in good condition. It is unknown if the three loose photos were originally with album. Not being experts with photographs, these have not been tested for originality.
