Description: Decorate in style with this attractive early Hand-Woven Buttocks Basket. Crafted from wood splints, this basket features a woven God’s eye wrapping on two sides, a twisted handle that runs through body, a wrapped rim and a two-lobe bottom, traditionally for gathering eggs. It bears its original, natural patinated surface that displays beautifully.

Still appears to be tight. Light wear, a few breaks in strips at bottom and base of handle (as shown), although does not take away from beauty or strength of piece.
