English Crown Ducal Ware Chintz Pitcher & Wash Basin Set Ascot Pattern c. 1920's
Product Description: Wash Basin sets similar to this one were commonly seen in the bedrooms during the Victorian era before indoor plumbing, as a means of washing up before bedtime. It's not common to find a lovely, matching set in the Ascot transfer pattern by Crown Ducal England. It stands in the basin about 12" tall and boasts an English Country Cottage feel. On the exterior, it features a colorful Chintz floral in pink, blue and yellow with green foliage, brown branches and a creamy white interior. Surprisingly, this set is still together and awaits a new home. It will be a challenge to find a nicer one!
