Product Description: A true survivor of early Americana craftsmanship, this staved-constructed barrel shape bucket stands as a rugged 19th-century utilitarian paint pot. It carries the full primitive, rustic appearance with honest, hardworking history - full of character.
- Smaller size measuring just over 6 inches tall with three steel riveted hoops
- Original dry, dark surface patina
- Tight, well-fitted staves and secured with three steel hoops
- Original wire bail handle remains intact
- Early orange painted bottom
- Later on, a plastic drip insert was added to the interior bottom -likely for an additional use

Condition: Used. Condition is commensurate with age and use. Dark patina, two top hoops are no longer straight, missing some rivets although still strong. Orange paint splatters on interior edges and streak on one side. Two horizontal holes on front of bucket where makers plaque possibly was displayed.
