Production Description:  An extraordinary burgundy, leather bound six volume set with decorative gold gilt spine of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" published by Thomas Nelson & Sons, London Edinburgh Dublin and New York. Included with this set is a scarce 328 page "Dictionary of Dates”. It sits horizontally in the bottom portion of the stand where the Shakespeare volume set displays vertically. Its rare to come by sets similar to this one with Dictionary of Dates and stand. The six volume set totals over 3,465 pages of reading in addition to the dictionary of dates totaling of 328 pages.

Special Markings: “Dictionary of Dates”: Printed on the bottom of the first page is "Printed in Great Britain".  Printed on the bottom of last page, "Printed By The Temple Press at Letchworth in Great Britain". ~ Stand: Stamped "Cross London Made in England".

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Stand is in fair to poor condition with surface wear, although still functional.  Dictionary of Dates:  Front and back cover are "detached" (although still included), with soiled edges. Contents are in good condition.  The Complete Works of William Shakespeare:  Set is in fair condition with exception of volume VI which the front cover is detached and volume IV, the back cover has detached. Interior of all books are in good, readable condition although binding on all have wear and some issues (as shown). Name written in pencil on inside blank page cover of volume IV and has a loose back binding. Flaking on books and stand. Please review the photographs as they are part of the description.
