19th Century Rectangular Lidded Vanity Dish Blue & White Copeland England Registry Mark
Description: This Antique Blue & White Transferware Vanity Dish was once part of a wash basin set commonly seen in the bedrooms during the Victorian era before indoor plumbing. This covered dish once used for holding hygiene necessities, features a tri-section base and matching lid, both adorned with an elegant blue transferware ribbon and bow pattern trimmed with a geometric design. A refined example of period craftsmanship, combining functionality with a decorative appeal. It bears a raised and a printed English registry diamond mark on the base, dating this piece mid-1800s, making this a collectible example of Copeland pottery.
