Product Description: This hand-painted Imari decorated porcelain cabinet plate features classic vibrant orange-red, cobalt blue and greens with a fluted rim. Notice the outer edge is filled with a variety of repeated floral and geometric motifs, encompassing a medallion in the center with an orange bird and a cobalt blue flower. The back of the plate showcases three marks, possibly symbolic, in blue on the short circular footed rim.

Circa:  Believed to be pre-1890. Not confirmed.

Dimensions:  8 3/8" dia. x 1 1/2" H

Colors:  Blue, white, turquoise green, orange-red and a touch of yellow.

Marks:  No markings other than a symbol in blue on the back duplicated in three areas.  

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age.  Colors are still vibrant with minimal wear.  No chips or cracks.  Small glaze spots, contractions, Due to age, 1 rust spot on front approximately 3/16" (as shown in photo).  5 small age rust spots on back (as shown in photo).  Signs off minor wear on the footed base.
