Antique Gray Graniteware Enamelware Flask 18 Fluid Ounce

Description:  This gray graniteware flask represents an example of early American enamelware manufacturing.  Vessels similar to this one were once commonly used in the early 1900s for carrying spirits, medicines, or water. The body of the flask features a smooth enameled surface with a graniteware appearance. It stands 6 ¼ inches tall with only a few enamel chips and original cork seal in the lid.  Add this special, unusual piece of early enamelware to your collection.

Condition:   Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and normal use.  Very good condition. Lid is in good condition and works properly.  Body is still super shiny.  No holes for leakage.  Two smaller enamel chips at shoulder area and directly under top edge.  One 1 inch enamel chips on side of body.  A few indentations on lid and body. Only sold as a collectible, for display only.  Not for food or water use.
