Product Description:  A Lovely Hand Painted Lenwile Ardalt Urn/Vase with Lid - Japan.  This elegant Mid-Century artware features two sides of hand painted scenery in a Rococo style reproduction of a French painter; F. Bouchee. The front side depicts a Victorian, romantic scene of what appears to be a shepherd and shepherdess relaxing in the countryside. A signature; F Bouchee 1759 is visible on the log underneath the shepherd. The back side is a beautiful water scene with swans.  The ornate, gold gilt handles and gold highlights add elegance to this work of art.  

Dimensions:  13" height (with lid) 10" (w/o lid), 9 3/4" width (from handle to handle), 5 1/2" dia. (opening)

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Appropriate condition for age.  No chips or cracks. Discoloration on lip which appears to be from the gold gilding process.
