Antique English White Ironstone Grape Octagon Pitcher 8 1/2" by Livesley Powell
Description: This charming, white ironstone pitcher from the 19th century by Livesley & Powell of Staffordshire, England stands 8 ½” tall and holds about 5 cups of liquid. There is nothing ordinary with its fluted, octagonal shape body and slightly skirted raised base. A simple grape leaf motif is displayed at the bottom on each side of the handle. It appears this pitcher may have been kept as a collectible for many years judging by its shiny, glazed appearance and minimal wear.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Over 160 years old. Good condition with light wear on bottom base. No chips or cracks. Rim is surprisingly smooth. No noticeable crazing or repairs. Inside is super clean. A small pin hole in glaze at bottom, inner handle. The back of thumb rest has two, small nicks which causes a slight roughness in one area, which is not easily noticeable.
