Antique Blue & White Salt Glazed Stoneware Jar "Raisins" No Lid
Product Description: This old, salt-glazed stoneware jar decorated in a country blue and white with an Ombre' effect is stenciled with a “Raisin” label. Early stoneware canister crocks similar to this one are not commonly found and can still be used for multiple kitchen uses such as a cachepot or utensil holder. In cylinder form, it stands 5 3/8” inches tall with a generous 4 ¼’ inch top opening with an embossed floral design on back with an all-over weave pattern. Although missing its lid and showing its age, this stoneware jar which once held raisins, will add some unique, old country charm to your kitchen.

Condition: Used – Antique. Internal crazing with discoloration. Horizontal glaze crack on front-bottom which does not go through. Visible 1” – 1 1/8” vertical crack on top edge/rim which does go through to other side at top rim. Still useful. Some nicks and glaze pops, here and there. Normal wear to base. Light wear to a few letters in stenciling. Please refer to photographs for visual damage and/or wear.
