Antique Dark Brown Mottled Glazed Redware Pottery Storage Jar with Lid

Description:  This earlier redware storage jar with a slight bulbous body and two lug handles boasts charm and character.  It stands just over 9” tall with its lid that sits recessed in a wide mouth.  The beauty of this piece is shown with its dark brown glazed surface with highlights of mottled green and speckled light brown.  A unique, earlier utilitarian piece of pottery that showcases the simplicity of years gone by.
