Description: Display this ever so charming blue and tan Antique Crock with its Original Lid in the Draped Window Pattern. Possibly once used for butter, its crafted of stoneware with a salt glazed finish. This crock is nothing but ordinary with a draped swag and scroll motif in four windows encircling the crock. Although the handle is missing, words cannot explain the the uniqueness and design of this early salt glazed crock. A beauty for your kitchen!

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is considered good although "Missing Handle". leaving two original holes once holding the bail handle exposed. No repairs. One 1/4" glaze crack or separation in what appears to be in the glaze, below handle. Please refer to photograph. Some crazing is visible, more so on lid. Lid fits well. Two original holes once holding bail handle are exposed. One ¼” chip at rim of base.
