McCoy 6 1/4" Pottery Planter Jardinere Soft Pink Tan Green Early Shield 15 Mark

Description:  Produced in the late 1920’s, this early glazed McCoy Pottery-Jardinere is crafted in a blend of a dusty pink, tan in the center and green on bottom.  From top to bottom you will notice a variety of embossed art starting with a top band of scrollwork to panels and a step down towards the bottom.  It bears the early incised shield 15 mark, dating this to approximately 1929-1933 period.

Condition:   Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age and normal use.  No holes in base.  There is an 1/8" chip towards top of scrollwork area, and ¼” chip and a light surface scrape on the side of bottom base (as shown).  Bottom base bears wear along with a.  Rim is relatively smooth.
