Roseville Clematis Open Oval Double Handled Console Bowl 458-10 - c. 1944

Description:  A beautiful oval shape console bowl made by Roseville Pottery Company.  In the Clematis pattern, this open bowl features a double, golden yellow Clematis on two sides in earthy, green and orange tones.  The artistic quality on this bowl is superb with well-defined, embossed floral and leafy motif in a rich color palette.  It is glazed on the interior and exterior with a slight shine, not too glossy.  The rim is a step down pattern with nicely shaped double-ear handles.  A wonderful choice to display fruit or other treats.  Does have some wear from normal use although still a fantastic, functional collectible, especially during the autumn season.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Very good condition with one small 1/8” chip on the corner of one handle and one small nick on other corner of handle.  Both are facing downward and cannot been seen easily but is there.  Light to moderate wear on handles with no repairs.  Rim is in excellent condition with no nicks or cracks.  Exterior colors of decoration are rich in color.  Some color wear around the lower portion of the inside circumference of the bowl.
