Description: An exceptional Spongeware Spittoon - Cuspidor that carries the colorful charm and early craftsmanship associated with Americana country wares. It features a flared rim, cinched neck, and bulbous bottom. The interior, exterior and base in finished in a soft cream ground with an outstanding, hand-sponged greenish-blue and caramel brown marbled decoration that brings warm, old-home character – the kind you’d expect to find tucked on a farmhouse shelf. Strong form, great color movement, and perfect for Primitive Americana displays.
